Judge l think I know how you feel about finding your old TA. I purchased a 1973, 1975 and 1978 TA, all new. I would be happy to find any one of them today, I think they are long gone.

About two years ago I found and purchased a 1980 TA with the standard 301. The car is an unrestored garage kept original with 6600 miles on it when purchased. The original 301 ran like a clock but was really low on power. I have since installed a Butler 461 dyno tested at 490 HP and 590. Ft lb of torque. Power far exceeds what any of my original TA,s had. °

I still have the title for my first car my 64 Impala SS I sold in college never got paid all of it so kept the title. I called the DMV once and it had never been attempted to be retitled.

I know exactly where ALL (except 2) of my previously owned vehicles are. Reclaimed by the metal gods...
Funny though as I am doing that exact thing right NOW....OEM 301 turbo car getting a warm 455/M-21 combo
