Default ACDelco part number question

Can someone tell me what the difference is, or is there any, in numbers with and without the "F" at the end? The example I am looking at is A1097C and A1097CF. The second number is in stock where I am looking. Thanks

"F" denotes Durapack, which the part is a packed in a quantity of usually 12, but sometimes 6 depending on the part. The part is the same. There are a lot of just plain NOS 1097C filters on Ebay.
