Default Drag Week Accident

NHRA drivers Dominick Lagana and Richie Crampton were seriously inured in an off-track car accident with their DragWeek '57 Chevy entry. The car left the road "at speed" and hit a utility/light pole according to the news.

NHRA drivers weren't wearing seatbelts and ejected from the car? I hope they're ok. Buckle up, folks.

I hope they are okay. Left road suddenly sounds like something broke maybe.

That was a cool ride. Im disappointed they took the alcohol funny car engine out of it.

Those funny car halos will mess you up badly if you're not strapped in tight and wearing a helmet.

I know it doesn’t really matter but it was not a Dragweeks accident. Best of luck to all 3 of them hope they all do well and make a full recovery.

First of all I wish them all a speedy recovery. It shouldn't happen to anyone. But, "speed may have been a factor" and no body was wearing seat belts. If you are driving a race car don't get on it on public streets.

Pretty high standards. Built like space shuttles.

Sad they made bad decision to not wear seat belts. Not Good!!! No cars are built for pole impacts at speed. Like Chris65LeMans said "buckle up, folks"
