I hope they all like walking.... A lot!

Best advice, bring a golf cart and a lot of 1 dollar bills. The golf cart will save your feet and the dollar bills are for all the ice cream the wife and kids are going to eat.

Obviously I have. I also have many friends with fullsize Pontiacs that I convince into going because, as they call it, "its nothing more than a GTO show". One guy has a '61 Bubbletop and a '61 Convertible that both won many awards. He won't consider it and he is an old time drag racer.

You’re friends must be stubborn old farts then.
Reality is, A and F body are more popular right, wrong or indifferent. I go to Norwalk to see all Pontiacs, tell them to get over themselves and enjoy the hobby while we still have one.

Now I see why I cannot convince them to go.

I only asked the question to gauge the interest in fullsize parts. I guess I got my answer.

LeMans? A big car??? LOL!

Bird people pick me clean pretty quick. One guy in particular I have dealt with and horse traded with for 30+ years.

Thanks for extracting part of my quote. Let me put it another way, if they don't want to come to this show that's their prerogative. But why wouldn't they, it's the best Pontiac show on the Planet. The venue is stellar, it is well run, the cars on both the show field and drag strip are exceptional, the swap area is the largest all Pontiac swap I've ever seen, and most the people are great to deal with too.

I'm not sure why you would need to talk anyone into coming.

All true but face it, fullsize cars and the people that own them do not garner respect from the GTO and Firebird people as they should. This is a longtime fact and as a past owner of GTO's, GP's, a Firebird and a couple of Cats, I know this well and first hand. So don't tell me how "the other side" feels until you have walked in its shoes. I do not think there are too many fullsize owners, past or present, that would argue with me.

But for all those "A" and "F" body fans, just remember where the true "Original Pontiac Muscle Car" came from.

You sure are combative Chief. I’m moving on from this conversation.

Who else is coming to the Nats to enjoy all I stated above?
