Default NOS lifters 523270

Have 8 of these NOS lifters in perfect condition.

Any reason not to use these in a stock Pontiac engine even though they are for an Olds V8 307,350,403?

I have a set of NOS Pontiac lifters ... when I checked them very thoroughly with my mics ... that were more accurately machined than any of the aftermarket lifters I had.

I agree........these NOS Olds lifters I have are really nice pieces.

I'm just curious what the real difference is between the 5232750 (not 523270 as I stated above) and a Pontiac specific lifter such as a 5232265.

Dataway- are the ones you have 5232265?

Not sure how accurate a site called yoyopart.com is but they show the Olds lifter 5232750 crossing to the following GM lifter numbers including the Pontiac specific 5232265 lifter and it's replacement 17085567........

OE 10785567
OE 17085567
OE 5231355
OE 5231360
OE 5231615
OE 5232265

Who was the manufacturer of these lifters. TRW? Was TRW related to Federal Mogul through merger. I see a lot of Sealed Power/Federal Mogul lifters on E bay and wonder about their quality from back in the 90s.
