Default Clutch Cross Shaft

I'm converting my '75 from auto trans to stick. I have the clutch cross shaft assembly off a junkyard donor car.

Does the bracket that holds the outboard end of the shaft bolt to the outside of the front subframe? I've been looking for the 3 bolt holes and I'm not seeing them. Maybe the auto cars didn't have the holes drilled in the frame?

Any thoughts or pictures would be a huge help.

Thanks,
Eric
