Default Fender flares were the molded in color?

Hey all quick question were fender flares molded in color just like the valances and spoilers? Probably a dumb question but was just curious. Thanks Dan.

My experience from original cars and NOS spoilers is :

White yes

Red yes

Lucerne I've seen molded in a color close to Lucerne blue-then painted Lucerne

Admiralty blue I've seen a molded blue almost the same as Admiralty and molded dark brown-all were then painted Admiralty blue

Brewster green I've seen molded a dark green, molded a lighter green and molded a dark brown-all were then painted Brewster green

The welting on all these were molded in the final color

That's the question of the year as far as I'm concerned! Most of it's the silver/gray stuff and they have a black on too, that I understand is not very good to work with.
