At first I thought it was a Mopar night, then the sec gen Birds came out, lots of GP's, Catalinas, and GTO's, I wonder if Jim Wangers is in for it, years ago, we stopped for dinner at Little Daddy's Coney and he had one of his GTo's here, we went over and hi to Jim, I've seen the Orange Perf Years GTO too.
At the Bham cut off, there's a gold Camaro in a plexi case, I heard it's the first Camaro that rolled off the line, #1, I tried to get close last night but it was a zoo at 15 mile, I'll snag a pic Saturday, B-Ham has nice cars, the Royal Club usually has a tent up there somewhere, and the Cadillac and Imperial Cubs go there, there's some Pontiac club there too, there's a huge gathering at the new M1 concourse this week at the new track that is done, I'm trying to make that tonight.

We always go out to the Dream Cruise at 7AM Saturday. We leave from north and go through Pontiac and down. We get 3-4 laps in and then park to walk around when traffic is bad 10:00 or so. No fun idling for hours and not moving.
Tues night had lots of Pontiacs out.

I spent the morning cleaning the car, it's raining.
 I may not be up there tonight, tomorrow morn, we're heading out early, I have a Glod 78 with Gold rally's on now, yell if you see me. My 16 year old will be driving tomorrow morn. I'll be in the pass seat enjoying the cruise.

Sad but just ain't going to make it this year. Last year I went on Sat. Way too congested. This year I pledged to spend a few week nights down there but life got in the way :/
How's the action the rest of the summer down that way? Worth the trip during a regular summer night? Enjoy!

We got up at 6 am, grabbed a Starbucks and hit Woodward by 7, it was nice, no traffic jams, I ran into Mongo at 13 mile, we did the Pontiac loop and I couldn't believe it, across from the old Teds site at Sq Lake, one business was empty, shady spots out front, food next door, coffee, so we parked, a 73 whiteSD pulled in, like a#3 car, it was sweet, I called Norwood, he wanted some info on the car, then 5 Solar gold T/A's pulled in because they saw me, good times. From one w/ hurst tops, one had std interior, vinyl, Lombardy, Some were Y88's some not, all were Norwood cars, one came radio delete, he asked where the antenna was, the glass was GM, We all compared cars, they cracked up how original mine was, they all looked diff but basically the same car, All in all a good day. Even saw a rag top '
79 t/a go by, I met the owners at Norwalk the other week. I just went up to grab some cheap shirts, yesterday $25, today $8. Gotta love it. If you never saw the event, you don't know what your missing.

We have the TA rag top and just got home from Woodward tonight. Stuck around and did some sight seeing and shopping. Was watching for your group of TA's but couldn't pick you out . So many cars. Did spot a 74 SD Formula. Never know what you will see on Woodward.
