Default FYI!

Black isn't just a Chevy color... most of the Ram Air V crate motors were painted black, (FROM THE FACTORY!)

They were only painted blue for a few PR photos and by those who bought them.

fyi-guess mine will be a pr engine.i dont remember there being any aluminum crate engines sold.also dont remember there being any black pontiac blocks ever put in a pontiac.

and now i have some spare parts! they are black. still going with the 69-70 engine blue on this aluminum block.maybe black on the next one?
