72 TA Survivor
I have lurked on this forum for a long time, thought you guys would like to see some pictures of a 72 survivor TA from Texas. * 38k original miles * two owner in one family.
Parts replaced are the A/C compressor, alternator, master cylinder, muffler, and the bird on the nose. The drive train has never been out of the car; it runs and stops great, all *original* interior, paint, and decals. I found this car about 3 years ago, my heart almost stopped when the guy raised the garage door and I realized it was a real survivor in great shape!!! Enjoy more pics to come (wish i could upload higher rez pics) |

Wow, great looking car - nice find!
Looks like you've got the cloth interior option (with the cloth inserts on the seats and door panels)? That's something you don't see too often on these. |

blue71ta - yes it has an interior like i've never seen. the inserts in the seats and doors are a very soft cloth. i did some research and found that the cloth is called "potomac", it must be a very rare option.

this is interesting, i noticed on both fenders a paint run indicating the fenders were painted off the car and hanging (duh, who would paint fenders on the car ?)

Do you own the car now?

yes i do - i had heard about the car and went looking for it, took some asking around but i found it. the guy that owned it was not a "pontiac guy", the car was his father-in-law's car so his wife wanted to keep it. she had died about a year before i found the car and the guy was ready to let it go.
