Default Firebird Spolier fasteners

Hey folks. My '70 Formula has had a later model spoiler installed on it prior to my purchasing it. Last night I was doing some pre-fab with the spoiler and end caps to the car. I found that some of the screw in fasteners that go into the spoiler are a "metric, fine thread" and some were some home made hacked up pieces of all thread that appeared to be JB welded into their respected mounting holes.
I did a brief search on eBay and google to see if there was any replacements offered. So far no such luck.
Does anyone know if these are available somewhere? Or, does someone have some they could sell me? I'd like to get all new fasteners and nuts that are for earlier Firebird, non metric. The ones on there now do not look proper. Thanks again! Eric

I'm pretty sure they're the same as the nuts that held the tail lights in and more than one manufacturer used them. I did an ebay search and came up with these, but you can check for yourself to see a few more options and prices. Definitely verify they're the correct size before you buy.

Thank ya SD73. I need the studs that attach to the spoiler, too. I also found that add you posted here. The only studs I can find are for 67-69 F Body.

No problem. With the stud end I'd bet you could find it at Home Depot if someone had one handy to measure.

I'd like to add, it's all about wording when looking for parts and pieces via the internet and eBay. Thanks for the replies folks.

I hate these supposed correct kits that are not correct. The original nut and the Ames supplied nut are not of the same design. The original has a captured spinning washer where the Ames part is a flanged nut. If you're going to go to the trouble to assemble a kit why not at least put in the effort to make it more correct?
