Leather interior

That's certainly one I haven't seen yet. I know in 68 it wasn't available ... but the Koni's were.

Don't forget that my sampling is not representative of overall GTO production. Judges are over-represented 5 fold and convertibles are double.

putting aside Carousel Red (which I have over 200 examples) because with so many Judges it means nothing, here are the rest of the colors and the take rate:

1...Verdoro Green 77
2...Liberty Blue 62
3...Matador Red 51
4...Midnight Green 45
5...Warwick Blue 39
6...Limelight Green 33
7...Palladium Silver, Antique Gold and Starlight Black 31
8...Cameo White 30
9...Crystal Turquoise 28
10...Expresso Brown 27
11...Mayfair Maize 25
12...Burgundy 16
13...Windward Blue 9 (extra cost color)
14...Champagne 7
15...Goldenrod Yellow 2 (extra cost color)

also I have 8 CR on non Judges which cost extra

As for Bench seats;

15 are Parchment and 20 are black

5 out of 35 are Judges so 1.5% of Judges have bench vs almost 7% of non judges

20 are automatic (all on column of course),
9 are M20 and 6 are M21
no M13 3 speed manuals

Thank you north, I appreciate that.

This information is most intriguing, probably as close as I ever see to production #'s for my year.

As mentioned mine is a 68 and came with the split bench, interestingly enough it also came with the HD 3spd. which you show none of.

What's shocking to me is, the HD 3spd. was standard equipment.

I have yet to see another factory split bench 3spd. 68 - 69.

Much Thanks,
Frank

I had a 69, with the split bench/HD 3 speed manual. Owned it in the mid 80's. Only options I remember were hideaway's, PS,PB, AM radio with reverb, disc brakes.

Thanks Simple Man, be nice if you had the PHS docs, north could incorporate them into his database.

north, would you be so kind as to see how many of your PHS's indicate the M13 3spd. manual please?

How ironic would it be that one of the rarest options on a 69 GTO may have been a standard option...

As always thanks,
Frank

I have 36 3 speeds, 341 M20’s, 67 M21’s and 322 automatics. Again the overweight of judges and ram air cars distorts this. If you remove the judges and Ram Air cars you see that automatics are well over 50%, 4 speeds about a third and 3 speeds are about 10%.

Talking non options...
only 17 cars or 2% without a radio
12% of non judges had dogdish, higher than I would have guessed

More tidbits; only two judges with SPS extra cost paint (both Windward Blue) and no judges with two tone paint (but no reason to believe it wasn’t offered)

Thanks north,

That's about what I expected for 3spds.

Just never see them, with most opting to transplant 4spds or autos.

It surprises me every time I see a 68 - 69 with dogs but I have seen several, as you said, more than one would think.

I believe your statistics are a reasonable assertion of the actual overall computation for 69 GTO options, and over time it will only get better.

Great work,
Frank

Default Painted two tones

Wondering how two tone painted top cars were charged out by the dealerships was there an extra cost for this. Expresso roof champaine bottom paint guy must have rolled his eyes on this mix to review how many painted top cars in paper work also wondering how starlightblack came abought did factory make just so many and lucky dealerships got one or did they order them no charge?

North- this is for Judges only, correct? So its safe to assume 39 Warwick Judges were made?

Can you breakdown interior color Judges too? Like mine, Warwick with blue interior?

The color listing I posted above is for all the GTO's in my PHS listing except for Carousel Red. It includes all my Judges and non Judges.

Talking just Judges here are the color examples I have:

1...CR 208
2...Liberty 17
3...Black, Matador 12
4...Verdoro, Palladium 11
5...Warwick 8
6...Cameo 7
7...Midnight, Expresso 5
8...Gold, Lime, Mayfair 4
9...CT 3
10...Windward 2
11...Burg, Champ 1
12...Goldenrod 0

So about 2/3 of Judges were CR, however if I look only at Judges produced once other colors were offered then CR is about 45% of production

To answer the question about Warwick Judges

of the 8 cars here are the interiors:
4 have blue,
3 parchment
1 black
(all buckets and all hardtops)

One has a parchment cordova (blue interior)
