I have a few of those import sheets, what’s neat was decoding the rest of the cars on the list.

By the way those import sheets were only used for American cars imported into Canada of course. Cars produced in Canada used a different source for data.

Hi George wrote back on email. The price is now $124 and shipping. I recently paid for a 1972 Camaro Z28 to be decoded, all information in package is the same except better decode page with stamped seal on it in two places. I asked George about obtaining the invoice, as you said he wouldn't have it. I asked him about seeing what he cross-compares too ( microfiche / monthly import ) and why I can't have a screen shot of that.

See what he says. I suspect they wouldn't give a screen shot of the original shipping manifest as then they are giving away their service.

Oh an he confirmed U30 means rally gauges with in dash tach. Why he didn't write that back then??

As you said whacky canadian LOL

Hi,

Got the email back:

So no :

1 - I do not have a dealer cost invoice, I have no CDN pricing available ( Post #91 I gave as example USA one, not Canadian )

2- Q: Can I have a A picture / screen shot of what you are decoding and working off of ( microfiche? ) A: Info that we work from is proprietary to our business

He continues on to say : Options whether U30 or others are called different things sometimes depending if it is parts dept, sales dept or engineering dept making the description , apples are not always apples when looking at descriptions even though they mean the same thing.

So there you have it , Baron was bang on!
