Best to ask Mark Luhn, he is the one who spec'd them out.

A great deal of that effort came from Mark at Luhn Performance. Many do not know that.

The dedication you showed to getting to where you are today (and at Drag Week) is amazing. If people knew the whole story about that effort.

Good Job! You drove a lot of miles with your GTO this year and did very well.

I was a great year for sure, like always I expected more, I ran a 9.64@146.7MPH before I left for dragweek at 4000 DA, but MPH was down at dragweek 3-6. Pretty sure the clutch wasn't holding the extra power. But I am not complaining this Mill is solid, I beat the heck out of it and it never waivered. The stick car shootout I hot lapped it and it never waivered. 12686 miles from july!...who needs a trailer!
Thanks for the compliments Tom!

Well, YOU DESERVE THEM. You really showed what a Boosted Procharger street package could do this year. PY Boost Guys are proud of you.

That was all he needed to win apparently.
He has wounded engines in the past at well beyond 10 psi of boost in his car.

You seem to imply that 10 psi of boost is all he can handle in a car Brian.

Lol that wasn't my intention, was wondering why only 10psi, if it was due to the fuel he runs or ???

Actually the procharger F1C is pretty much maxed out, unless I overdrive it. I drain my pump gas and run 116 at the track.
WIth the 462 it would make almost 20psi, but this 517 flows substantially better so less restriction. A big single turbo should solve that, but really want to stay below 15PSI.

Thanks for answering, i thought the F1C was capable of more. So if one wanted to get 20-30psi with higher flowing heads a F2 or bigger would be required?

Yeah for reference this motor made 715 HP NA, the F1C is working good just maxed out for this combo, I think there are F1X that put out more. But the F2 might be a better option.
