My car has Edelbrock wWater Injection. Also it has a Performer intake on it. An Edelbrock SP2P intake was included in the sale. Surely they didn’t have that damn thing on a built up 455.

At least one of the cars linked has an SP2P with an EGR valve. I'm guessing they leaned towards that manifold so they could retain the factory emissions. The Performer wasn't out yet and the P4B was never offered with an EGR option.

That is interesting. It makes sense.

Yes , most likely a "marker" and ego thing.
The 170mph and company name definitely set it apart.
70-74 160mph speedos from salvage birds should have been cheaply and easily available in those times.

The speedo is the most documenting part of the car now , so it worked in favor.

Your car would have been 2.73 geared from factory.
Might want to jack it up and do the old spin test and see if they kept that ratio.

There will be a 99% chance of obtaining a Buildsheet in the rear seat upper cushion frame.
Every undisturbed 79 I have checked has had one.
Will tell where it sold originally , etc ...

What a great car!

I do find it a bit humorous when going through the comments on BAT that the modifications seem shunned upon. Most likely a lot of potential bidders scrolled by and missed out on a fantastic car. Once it's discovered it's was done by a professional company, then the modifications are desirable. Makes me wonder if a car done by Nunzi or another like him, would add or subtract to the sale.

It would be awesome to have a Nunzi prepared Pontiac! He could make them scream bloody murder! I talked to him on the phone one time. He stopped what he was doing and helped me with my issue on one of my cars.

The seller missed all the marks.
Not doing anything to help validate low mileage and factory paint.
And not having info about TA Specialty conversion.

I think he left 10-20k on the table, easily.
Paperwork from TA Specialties could have been more bonus too , probably.

Other than the speedometer it gives appearance of DIY.
Shaker pan is really trick , but most probably saw the shaker not mounted on carb and the coil location as a hokey halfwit operation.
Then only 2 pieces of braiding with a dual gate shifter , it all seemed more like redneck ingenuity.

The culmination of unknowns hurt the value considerably.

One thing for sure it's a helluva lot more fun car to drive & own as it sits versus a stock 403 car.

Everytime I chatted with Nunzi I got a craving for Italian food. He's a good knowledgeable man.

I remember them. On Rt 38 if I'm correct. Visited a couple times for some tech advice.
