Default Headlight bezels

Does anyone happen to know the correct color black for 1969 gto non hideaway headlight bezels? What about the correct color of the inner grills (Argent silver?) on a non judge? Thanks -

Yeah, that's what i had heard, and i sprayed mine 60%. Then my car was sitting next to an original 68 at the last car show, and his looked more charcoal and less glossy than mine. Not sure if anyone really knows, as i've gotten two different answers from Ames Perf.

I think that is how the paint fades out on the old black. I have some parts that were originally black from my 71 chevy truck which faded into a charcoal gray.

Not 100% sure but some I have seen appear to have been plated rather than painted.

Mine are plated with black inside most areas and silver paint on the side where it meets the inner grill. I guess i was wondering if the paints colors for the rally II wheels are the same as used on the bezels and grill?

I have NOS bezels on my car so maybe we can get some idea of the gloss. I am not sure that they are quite 60%, but I would need a paint chart of different gloss to really know. If they are not close to full gloss and not flat, they will probably look correct when finished. I believe that these bezels and the tail light bezels are finished exactly the same.

The first 2 pictures are the NOS ones on my car. They have been on there a while but out in the sun very little so I believe they are faded little or none to the naked eye. The last 2 pictures are my car's original bezels. You can probably see the difference between the two--I hope.

Edit: It is not easy to see in the pictures, but the black has a satin look--close to 60% I would guess.

I am not very good at gloss %'s so you are probably right.

I have some SEM Trim Black that seems to match the original - nearly flat black.
