My '67 Falcon Futura is back in daily use- even as a winter-beater. Paint jail was good for it- found a shop run by a guy who takes pride in his work. Tore out all bad spots and welded in new metal as needed. He started doing bodywork in 1956 and enjoys the old stuff.

WAAAY too nice as a winter beater, rethink that strategy. Get a reliable Japanese vehicle to run around with during salty winters.

With the few years I've got left (if any) I'll be darned if I'll drive something i don't like. Recent winters are mild here- plowed the driveway zero times last year and only once so far this year.

Back in the 80s there was a guy around town that had a Gremlin with a pretty stout SBC. Cool car.

Saw this today in an Aldi’s parking lot. Not a common occurrence to see a car like that provided it wasn’t a clone.

Yeeaaah, I would not be leaving that in the parking lot without someone in the car.

Clone or not it's still pretty rare.
