Ordered on the Pontiac website? How can you order a car off a website?
This is GM's offical ordering site. The "What's new for '05" Page is not updated but if you scroll through the links on the left hand side of the page, you will see that the LS2 and 400hp is confirmed.

Duh...go to the website, tell them what you want, and they will have a dealer near you call...that's how. The problem is that they do not show the '05 in there database, so options are not listed.

Tell WHOM? GMBUYPOWER.com is where you want to go, not pontiac. That isn't ordering, that's called SEARCHING INVENTORY. 05 GTO's won't start arriving until mid to late October.
You won't see the 2005 GTO on Pontiac's website until at least September.
When was the last time you bought a new car?

The LS2 is a 6.0L engine. That is around 364CuIn. 400CuIn is 6.6L

With the changes coming for the 05 model, any idea on what the new sticker price will be?

MSRP still to be rumored under $35K. I guess a dealer in MI is already taking orders for GMS pricing, which is more than invoice but less than MSRP and not as low as GM Employee cost.

Mr_GTO, I have bought three cars this year alone, totalling 124K, why do you ask? Have a better way for me to spend my money I am sure.
I have 7 cars total, valued at around 260K. Any more stupid questions?

Because of your ignorance thinking you can ORDER a GTO off the Pontiac website. That's why.

Don't worry, someday you will grow up to be a big boy. The teen years are allways quite trying, especially for a young deprived male.
I hope that's the case. It would be depressing to think you a grown person and that much of a putz..

Best you can do uh? Don't worry danny, I haven't been a teen in 11 years and making you look foolish is very easy since you do all the work for me.
Let me know when you can order a car from Pontiac.com ok

is this little war ever gonna end between you two, it's getting very stupid and old.
Does anyone know if there is going to be a sunroof option for the 05 GTO? I'm pretty sure people are still gonna bitch even though there are hood scoops now, dual exhaust and the LS2. What kind of options would you like to see on the car?

Danny, give up. You can't beat someone who calls himself an "internet super sleuth". Lots of real world experience in that.....

I'm kinda interested in what's going to happen in 06/07 with the car. Wouldn't want to buy one and get spanked by a Cobra, know what I'm say'in?
And how will it compare to the Camaro in speed?
I like to go fast.

From the options list:
"LS2 Engine, 6.0L V8 SFI aluminum (400 HP [297.9 kW] @ 5200 rpm, 395 lb.-ft. [539.9 N-m] @ 4000 rpm) S"
S means Standard.
In fact the options list does not show any real options except the trans. And, no Sunroof or Head-Up Display, darn.
There are RPO codes for "Hood Scoop Delete" and two different tires "P235/40ZR18" and "P245/45ZR17-95W, blackwall."

Andy Klien in Kansas City has had several of the '04s on their lot for some time now. They have recently gotten in a red & 2 blacks. One has interest rate of 2.9% for 60mo. written on the windsheild. No word on what they are selling them for or if any dealing is taking place. My thought is, if they are now taking orders for '05s they are going to want to be moving the '04s they have remaining, might be a good place to check about purchasing from if someone is interested.
