Hey guys. I'm building this 455 (6X-4) to put in my '68 LeMans, and I've noticed what appears to be (2) broken sending units, one on each head close to where the "4" is stamped. Can you help me identify these?

Also, what's the best replacement for missing 1 1/4" (freeze?) plugs that came loose from the head?

Thanks for all responses, Double

Those broken thingies are the coolant temp sensors. The one in my 455 was broken when I got it also.

Regards, George
