I am pretty sure Paul has gone quicker than 7.30s. I think he has been in the 7.0s

This has been an impressive thread and about a Jillion Pontiac horsepower combined! How wonderful to see so many high HP Pontiacs.
I'd like to share one of mine here. I just spent some time on it and assembled the heads, valvetrain including the rocker stands and set the valves. it is now all together internally. Still have to set up the mag, run the water, fuel and oil lines and do the wiring. This is as rare as it gets, an original 1962 M/T HEMI Pontiac racing engine. It is the only known complete HEMI Pontiac engine to survive out of Mickeys shop. I bought it from the original owner who bought it from Mickey in '63 after the ban. Quite a piece of history.
Things look a little dusty and they are. I keep as clean as I can but, conditions are quite bad and will remain that way for awhile. This is the desert. My first turbo project, a '59 F-350 with Cummmins and 6 speed sits in the back ground. They are being built together along with my 61 Safari.

Should be fun and I'll be able to take friends for a white knuckle thrill ride at well over 100 mph on the water. Also be able to ski behind it.
Life is very good.

Thanks John. I still get a lump in my pants every time I look at her and I have to pinch myself at times to make sure this life is real. I am Blessed and will take good care of her. It will not be set up on 'kill' but, will make scary nasty power in modest mode.
In the meantime, the custom rocker assemblies are getting nearer to being finished for my 2nd HEMI Pontiac that will go in my AA/Fueler and run on Nitro. That one will be on 'kill' as I aim for the 5's and 250mph.

this is all I've got assembled so far, in the process of doing a back-half and cage on the car now. it will get a pair of 58mm turbos, non-intercooled. I hope to run on E-85 with no coooling system.

Wreckmastr, although I am not a big fan of nitrous I think your engine is a work of art. Very very nice work, looks awsome!

curts gto is just wicked... i think all these n20 motors have more money in regulators and braided line that i do in my 400 in my street car. LOL. i dont think thats much of an exaggeration either.
