I (actually Richie Hoffman)had a balancer/ damper made for the crank...here are a couple of pics. All the pulleys should line up (always a plus) if we figured everything correctly.....

What did the Billet Specialties kit set you back? Looks very nice!!! Does it come with a polished water pump? Do you plan on using a motor plate or just stock motor mounts?

The whole set-up was around 3k....I think the waterpump is polished but don't remember...it is at the engine shop. I will look through the "bill book" and look at the kit on Sunday and give you a more accurate answer......Eric

So do you plan on using a motor plate or mounts? Just wondering because a plate might not work with your Billet Specialty setup.

Hello Eric,

This post and your build is fantastic.

I plan on building a powerplant very close to what your building. Can you provide further detail on your engine build?

What size supercharger, Compression, Estimated HP, Cam selection?

I'm new to the supercharger world, but one will be in my future!

Bob,

Beautiful color combo to boot.

I love the chassis. Who built it?

That's a lot of weight to be hanging off the front of the crank, and placing the blower belt pulley to the outside of the serpentine pulley is going to exacerbate the issue of snout flex from driving the blower. You may want to consider mounting that blower belt pulley flush with the balancer and running a mandrel drive for the serpentine belt. I know you've made a big investment in that Billet Specialties system, but I would hate to see you break that crank snout, which would result in the loss of a bigger investment. Additionally, that balancer, although a beautiful piece, is a bit overkill for a roots blown application...its girth and weight, combined with placing the blower pulley so far out in front of it, I think is going to wreak havoc on that crank snout.
