I finally got my new hood. 2 inch raised center. Fits pretty good. Still needs some work but I am happy. Old hood 60.5 lbs new hood 30 lbs. It's a bolt on street hood.

Just got back from a show tonight, boosted it for the 1st time since back together, feels so good!!! I miss that feeling. I must have answered 200 questions from people tonight. Pontiacs are rare around these parts.
The biggest question was "where do you get turbo headers for a Pontiac?" LMAO That's the pain when turbo charging a Pontiac, thinks its worth it.
I do have a big bug to work out but I will explain that soon.

Sorry guys, nothing good to report. Went to the track and broke 1st pass.
Car spun 1st gear + tire shook, shifted 2nd it planted and pulled hard shifted 3rd and POP no 3rd, put it in 4th no 4th, coasted thru the traps and put it in 2nd. I had second and 1st gear. End of my day.
13.65 @89 mph just 1st and 2nd and coasting thru the finish line.

I am done with the stick shift, the automatic is going in over the winter. Unless you have big $$$$ sticks can not hold up in my tug boat.

Well it is official, cut the old tunnel out, welded another in with no stick shift holes. Mounted the shifter. My custom console still fits (had to modify a little bit)
It's going to be automatic. I still don't know how I feel about it, but I know the car will be faster, and not break transmissions!

Added the mid plate and the anti roll drag bar. Drag bar is beefy, at least it's putting weight in the right spot.

Turbo 400 is almost done, I added the rear drag bar, I am adding the mid plate, that is in another thread. I am waiting for the tranny so I can weld the mid plate tabs. I'll be ready for spring I hope.

TH400, upgraded to CK 300m input, transbrake by fti. That is a PTC bolt together converter also.

I used Spohn for the anti roll rear sway bar. Very nice quality.

I am caught up with the transfer from the other site. This was the short version, but now any changes I can add here too.

Sure is a purty converter. Bet that set ya back! Great build. I also read your entire 200+ post build over at pz. Very nice setup. Mid/high 9s if you make it to the track and driving both ways!

To bad you could not move that thread over to PY over time like my carb thread. Would make a nice sticky in the Boost Section based on the number of posts and the stuff you learned.

Yes a few people get that. I think it has to do with Norton Anti virus . I still have no issue.

Yeah be VERY careful on PZ. There is some malicious code running on his website there that embeds a bitcoin miner in your browser. That is what my Sophos antivirus is telling me each time you hit the back button on a page.

I reported it to Lou and he claimed that "it's being worked on". I think that was last year, so doubt anything is happening to fix it.

Who did you get the hood from, if you don't mind me asking..... Does it have nice factory-similar side flanges? I'm doing a tilt front end and I would want to bolt one together with the fenders on each side.
