Default Early Spring? The Groundhog Says...

http://animaltracks.today.com/_news/...dhog-says?lite

I'll beleive it when I see it. We have clear skies here with plenty of shadows. But that's supposed to change by tomorrow. They're calling for no shadows with snow tomorrow for our neck of the woods. Chicago, keep yer snow... unless you can send me 2 feet of it for here. I gotsta make some money with the snowblower.

If that damned Whistlepig woulda shown up outside his hole here I'd have shot him.

That being said I think it'll be a fairly early spring. I just hope we get spring rain to offset the lack of snowfall so far

Only time I've seen the groundhog is when he is laying on the side of the road dead. I guess that's not a good sign either.

Still waiting for Winter here. I think it got down to 43 once this year, and it is in the 70's all this week.

Default Early spring

I can't wait!!!!! been working on the car when I can since I can heat the garage but want
to get out and test it. Had one day that was 66 last week and it was a treat.

I say bring on spring now.

The groundhog came out and predicted an early spring....then we woke up this morning to 20 degrees and overnight snow.

I don't hate the change of seasons but I'm already tired of winter. I'm ready for warm weather.

If the average high temps here weren't close to 60 in January, I'd be surprised.
Maybe early in this case was January 1st?

Don't feel bad Greg, we had snow late yesterday. Just about all of it melted off today.
