Default Other things to do while I have heater box removed on my 79 TA/SE

I have replaced the heater core and the blower motor on my 79 TA/SE. I have not reinstalled the heater box yet and I am wondering what else I could do while I have that box out and the inner fenders removed as well.

Obviously, you are replacing the heater hoses as well,I would assume.....

Don't know the status of your T/A.....survivor,driver showcar????.......but with the inner fender out,it's an excellent time to clean and paint the subframe rail.upper control arm etc.

Be sure to replace the vacuum hose that runs to the vacuum motor
inside he box. they always crumble eventually. The external vacuum lines to the
box don't seem to do this.
