Default 1964-66 GTO Throttle cable - RPE406

We are looking for one someone in the Pontiac community who has purchased one of our GTO throttle cables RPE406 from us in the past 5 years. We found out that the molds has been "lost" or "broken" as the mfg. says. We are looking to see if we can make them, so we need to find someone who has one of these cable available that we can borrow for 6 months. We would like it to be unused if possible, but if that can't happen, maybe a used one.

Please let me know here at PY.

Thanks... GP Mike

Could you use an original '64 cable with three holes for the throttle stud? I have an original that's not in use.

We actually have that here in the office. The tag we have lists it as a 2 bbl/4bbl 1964. It looks like that's too short. The RPE406 cable measured 11 1/2" FIREWALL TO INTAKE BRACKET. OVERALL 21 3/4". Thanks for responding...

Is that the 66 Tri-power standard shift one by chance? I truly wish someone would make that one correctly and not with the three holes. I have a used one of those to loan.

Bob H @ PY does not have this cable, so we're still looking. I can not use an original cable either... I am attaching the picture we have in our catalog. It's not the greatest picture, but it should get the point across. This cable has 3 holes at the end of the cable where it attaches to the carb. Thanks...

I recently purchased a cable but not sure if I got it from here or not, does appear to be the same cable, and it is not in use at this time. It is slightly used though. Can look for receipt to verify or can send picture with measurements if wanted. Has 3 hole as described.

Found my receipt, it's not yours. Bought it from a competitor in California But is now discontinued.

It looks correct... If you are not using it, could we borrow it for a little while and send you a new one once we come out with them?

Sure, I'm not using it right now anyway, so I will get it in the mail next week. It's coming from Canada so it might take a bit. Just give me the address and who to send it to, or care of. And I will get it coming. I had it on my 64 but swapped over to a braided on to get some more bling, LOL.
