The GW arms have no provision for sway bars? Every one I've ever seen has them, and use a eye link bar on one end?

Only way I can think of that would cause a harsher ride with a sway bar is if there is some type of binding in the suspension, and/or poor/dead shocks. And you should certainly notice a difference in handling (body roll).

You can 'adjust' the reaction time of a sway bar by tightening/loosening the sway bar end links. Maybe try loosening the end link bushings some, see if that is more acceptable ride for you. But I would suggest first looking at the entire suspension up there for worn bushings and ball joints, shock selection/condition, or possibly incorrect spring rates..

My GW arms were acquired from a customer of mine that has a '71 Tempest drag car. I got them in 2013, he had had them on his race car for a period of time. He was doing a total change over in his suspension on the time.

Looking at your link to the current A arms from GW, the new ones absolutely have the provision for the sway bar.

But mine didn't have the plate at the bottom of the A arm near the ball joint like the current photo shows, much less the "eye link" as you call it.

DRAG car- that's why. GW makes a different type for drag cars. There's not really a need for a swaybar on a drag car.

BTW- When speaking w/ Mark at SC&C, he made mention of a swaybar from Hellwig specifically for the 64-67 A bodies- said they are narrower.
This is news to me, and I can't find them on Hellwig's site, but they could be his proprietary parts from them. I always went w/ a T/A bar, but I may try one of his on my 64.

Very interesting, and true!

Never thought to look under the drag app section.

Exactly.

Nothing but dead weight (sway bar)...

Was an easy fix (if you know how to weld).
