Default Rhoads lifters Houston area

Anyone in the area running Rhoads lifters? I would like to hear for myself what the "noise" is all about before I pull the trigger on a cam and lifters.

No, I am not running rhodes lifters but I have found videos on youtube and you can listen to the noise they make. My search was "rhodes lifters and pontiac". bt

this type of question should be asked in the "street" forum. Many topics and opinions have been discussed here on the Rhoads lifters.

I posted it here to find someone in the area so I can listen to their car in person. I am probably gonna go with the Rhoads lifters anyways.

I have original Rhoads in my 68 torino, 428CJ 2 4bbls. Do they make some noise at lower RPMS, yes, do they make vacuum, yes. With a 230* @.050 lobe I have 18" of vacuum @ 800 rpm idle. '
I had a set in a 400, same deal great vacuum with a long duration cam.
My next 400 has VMAX Rhoads waiting to go in.
A great hi quality product that does what it is intended to do.
If you do a search I posted pictures of both Rhoads types and stock lifters disassembled.
The cam you are using is a big factor in if you should use them.
