POWER STEERING OVERHAUL
Been on the list for sometime and now that my year+ quest to locate
the correct '66 Cast-iron duel belt pulley has been fulfilled I now have a question on PS Hoses. Went digging in the steering bin and found an NOS Saginaw Pressure Hose. Forgot I even had it but after looking at the parts book I'm wondering if anyone can offer some insight as to the difference on hoses both W & W.O./A.I.R. I can't think of anything that would layout differently but there are two listings. If anyone knows please share. Thx

Nothing to report
Looked around and couldn't find any offerings beyond Pressure and Return so just ordered both AC-Delco and calling it done.
If I had to guess it may have been related to the metal fitting(s) and the degree of bend to clear the A.I.R parts? Anyhow just a guess. Still looking for the reservoir mount/plate.

WELL I'LL BE...
Seem's my reservoir mounting plate is another "Unique" 1966 only part
While test fitting parts today I came to realize the newly acquired plate differs slightly from my OE. If you look at the plates you will see where the '66 plate on my Lemans has a different off-set. Something I've looked at 100's of times and not noticed, compared to almost every other plate I've come across. Anyhow I can add a spacer to the lower bolt location or more likely just use my plate. This was just an FYI for we few '66 owners. Cheers.

WHEW...
Well I took advantage of the day, weather in the mid 50's was enough of a motivator.
I was hoping to just assemble an all new pump assembly and do a quick swap, and we know that wasn't the case. I sure have learned several new key points with regards to 1966 OHC Power Steering All things are not created equal to say the least, but it's in and working as it should. This time out I mirrored the factory layout to as close as possible. Should have done this way back when I changed out my gear box but WTH

Jeff, I bet it is a difference between A/C and Non A/C Equipped cars in 66/67. They probably have a different bracket for 68/69 A/C with Power steering cars as well.
To bad I still don't own my 66 A/C sprint to compare my 1 remaining spare bracket with.

Jeff,
I did a little checking and the Parts book only seem to show it as a Body style difference. T/6 Vs F/6. It's a little strange as there is no listing on '67 T/6 or later? However I'm still thinking it's a year difference versus body style or options. 1966 being a stand alone, but still not sure. Now that it's on my radar I'll be looking a lot closer as I come across PS and/or AC equipped models.

SUPPORT / PLATE '66 Vs '67
I posed the question on our OHC Club page and so far it looks like it is just a year change.
From the responses so far at least, it's appearing to be '66 ALL regardless of engine and/or other options. Same seems to be coming up on the '67 it applies to T/6 & F/6. Hoping to hear from '68 & '69 owners to see if the pattern hold true.

Support plate
Jeff, I'm on the couch nursing a terrible head cold. My 69 firebird assembly is in the basement presently. When im feeling better I'll dig the tote out and compare / take pics.
