Default Turbo camshaft

I just picked up this comp cam with a 112+4 duration. Will it work on a turbo car. Here is the cam card

If I am reading the cam card correctly it is a smaller Hydraulic Roller camshaft, correct?

If so then it probably will be a lot of fun in a street driven smaller turbo application.
I have seen some 400 cid SB Chebbys with similar grinds that made good power with the right turbo match.

Far from being a turbo cam, but it will "work". I've designed some turbo cams with that much intake duration that put over 1,000hp to the wheels, but they opened the exhaust valve must soon and had a LOT more exhaust duration.

If going through the expense and work to build a turbo car, then why not spend a little extra and get a cam that is designed to optimize your combo?

A lot of truth in the post quoted.

In reality, NA cams are not designed like Supercharger Cams and Supercharger Cams are not designed like Turbo cams.

The Keens picked up over a tenth on their 7 second Supercharged 347 cid engine (Power Glide trans) vehicle (10.5W tire) with the right camshaft design. This was in 1998. TWENTY YEARS AGO. The Keen Brothers, years later, were PRO MOD champions multiple times with a corvette race car (and the correct camshaft for their engine).
It really depends on what you want to do with your Non Naturally Aspirated engine and your resources.
