The previous owner removed the dashboard from my car. I am wanting to repair the lower windshield channel. The repair channel needs to be butt welded to the front edge of the dash. I have my position for the bottom of the dash to be welded back in, but where are the attatchment points for the new glass channel to the top of the cowl and firewall? I found a video online, but it does not show where to weld that new channel to the top of the firewall. I see that the body sealer goes underneath, but that can't be all that holds that in place.
