Fiberglass Roofs for 1960's Convertibles
Somewhere on here there were some pics and info on some 60's Fullsize GM - fiberglass roofs for convertibles. Seems like 2 different manufacturing companies were mentioned.
Can't find that thread again. It wasn't too long ago when pics/info were posted. Believe it was just a few posts inside of a broad/general/multi-purpose thread. Just can't find it now -- .. _ Hoping the contributors who posted the pics will see this , and help re-locate. Thank You |

A PY member in Chile , has a 69 GTO Convertible with what i believe to be one of those USA Manufactured aftermarket fiberglass roofs.
His initial assumption was it was a 1-Off handmade product of Chilean Ingenuity. Fits and looks way too good , in my personal opinion. Just trying to help investigate |

Interesting. The ones in the other discussion were for full size cars, and I think they were only available for a few years (1962 and maybe a couple years after that.) Never seen anything similar for A body cars. That one does look pretty well done on the exterior, although the inside is kind of unfinished.
