If it were closer, I'd try and trade my 66 GTO tri power project.

Pink with parchment is cool. Very unique.

Rare indeed!

What's with the Door Trim Panel Emblem?
Hard to tell but doesn't quite look like a GTO Emblem.
LeMans?

Great example of rare not being desirable, at least not in my book.

All of those options and no power brakes...odd.

Someone listed this on the Craiglist thread.... http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...25223&page=175 halfway down the page.... Some folks were thinking it was a fake... I would love to see one of these Pink cars restored to it's original condition. Although, I wouldn't want it for myself, I'll bet it would look fantastic and get a heck of a lot of positive attention.

I beg to differ on a pink GTO gaining positive attention. Maybe to the owners face but behind his back us another story. Let the f@g bashing begin.

I think it would get a lot of attention at shows. Sure, some people would laugh at it, but who cares.

What if the owner is a hot female?
I would love to see one in pristine condition. It's the only way to really tell what the reaction will be. Like I said, I wouldn't want one personally but I wouldn't want one in Marigold Yellow either. In fact, I'd take the Pink over the M Y one.
Maybe it's just that I'm secure in my masculinity. The perceived f@g aspect of the pink wouldn't bother me a bit.

Agreed with the female deal, hot or not. But what are the chances? As far as a pink car for a guy goes, well let's just say there would always be lots of "light in the loafers" jokes.

To each his own with color/options, I say. As for the Pink car - yes, that would be interesting and definitely an attention-generating color that could be fun. Desirability? That's an entirely different question but one easily answered by asking the following question: how many Pink 1968 GTOs can any of you recall driving around?

LOL

I dig Iris Mist and Plum Mist - Pink Mist not so much. Assuming it's non-metallic, it looks like Pepto Bismol. Would love to hear a story behind why someone originally purchased it. The special color '68s are few and far between, can't recall ever seeing one in person.

Panther pink is a completely different story Greg - it may be pink but it's still bad ***!
