Default Saw a dead solid perfect '73 Ventura II on FB the other day... got me thinking

Has anyone ever swapped an OHC-6 into one?

Would be a heck of a car for not a heck of a lot of money. Had PMD not scrapped out the OHC 6 engine (nor Chevrolet the Rochester FI system) the fuel crisis would have been far more profitable and less painful.

Think the question may have been asked before - I recall a posting of a badass Opel GT Bonneville car - but not recalling the answer or finding any knowledge/reference for same..

Firebird OHC pads may bolt right to the cross member, would be a fun project

It should be almost a bolt in, should not have any hood clearance problems as the 68-74 X-bodies are very nearly the same as a 67-69 F-Body. It would be a Fun swap

Thumbs up PERFECT

I've seen a Cammer stuffed into many different vehicles over the years but not a '73 X-Body IMO none would be more fitting, have some 250 badges made and your all set

If it was originally a Chevy 6 powered car the conversion would be just slightly easier as the gas line would be on the passenger side already. But other than that small item I don't think there would much difference if it were V8 Powered.

I see the 2nd gen Bird needed the top belt cover removed for hood clearance
