Going to my VietNam unit reunion (84th engineers) this fall. Haven't been to one before, don't know what to expect. It was 50 years ago this month that I went over.
Have been to most of our high school reunions and enjoyed all of them. Our class ('70) is trying to have a combined get together with the class of '68. Hope it works out. Our classes were only about a hundred each so the number of those attending is small.

I went to my 25th in 2015 and ended up having a laugh that out class President was fat and bald and couldn’t stop reminding us he was our class president.

I went to my 50th HS reunion last year. Sad thing was there was nothing but a bunch of old people there. LOL Tho a couple of the gals still looked pretty good. One was still pissed she couldn't drink until she went to college and then turned 18.

I went to 10th 20th & 30th Reunions , 40th is still a few years away.

Would be more fun if folks still liked getting half-drunk and smoking some pot at special events ... like the old days.

The women change so much - definitely need more drink and smoke to be able to tell them - heck yeh honey you're still HOT

My 50th is in a few weeks. Gave some thought to going and have reconnected with a few of them but I have no interest in reliving my high school days (which were often spent in the principal's office). Most of the kids I hung around with are already dead.

Carcrazy, go and enjoy a visit with the ones still alive. Someday you might be the only one left and wish you had.

Funny that almost every time there is a reunion thread there are a bunch of guys who say how much they hate them. We're actually not too bad so far on this one! I have always had fun at mine, been to all but the 10th. My wife even comes along and hangs out with my supermodel friends. I do agree that the less formal they are, the more fun they are.
Your Christmas cards, here, are always awesome!!!

My Dad just got back from his class reunion in Eastern Iowa, he graduated in 1950, yes 1950..!!! He's 88 and in great health, I thank God every day!!!

At least one of my high school teachers is still alive and well (class of '67. Last summer a few of us got together with our first grade teacher! She was a nun, only 20 at the time, and we were her first teaching assignment. She is no longer a nun, married with kids and doing well. She remembered a lot of us but not me. Maybe that is a good thing.

A group from my class of 1986 meet up just about every year. This year it was hosted by a classmate one town over. Informal pool party bring a dish and drink. I decided to go and will try not to miss another. Had a blast. My wife said it was just like the parties back in high school.
