Cliff is great! I've bought many a part from him and they work GREAT1 I frequently print out some of his posts and keep them in a notebook to consult, much faster for me than electronic, never down or low battery and works great in my garage when I need to have the advice from Cliff handy. Thank you Cliff!

Lots of experience, especially with street-strip pump gas 455s.

The biggest thing Cliff has done for me is to remove the shroud of mystery around how the q-jet works..and by default, carbs in general.. I bought the Doug Roe book years before but I was totally confused. You have to give me pictures and that's a major part of the reason the book works so well. Been eyeballing the TH-400 book for a while.

Could not agree more with this thread - I'm fortunate enough to have several carbs that Cliff has worked/tuned.

Always fair pricing and great service. When you need advice - he's always there. He will go down in history as the greatest qjet builder/tuner in our hobby.

Cliff, you have also helped me a bunch of times. Maybe not all directly, but you always post offering help to PY forum members.

Keep being you pal this site would be far less without you so pay no attention to the pissing matches.

👍👍

Nope. Chuck just stares at the carb until it fixes itself.

Thanks guy for the kind words. Have been away for a few days, BURIED in parts orders which is unusual for this time of year. Things usually slow down from around Halloween till after the holidays, then I get blasted again. I also did a carb and distributor for a long time customer and want to get that shipped out on Monday.

Couldn't have done it without the help of Robert (Sun Tuned). This one needed new pins and springs, plus a new VA and reluctor. Weight holes were all wollered out but I found a used set vs having to braze them up and re-drill the holes to fit the pins (Royal PITA).

Anyhow, have to run, we're having our annual Christmas party tonight. Going to smoke some chicken drumsticks and put a ham on later today. We just might have to consume a few adult beverages to keep us hydrated!........Cheers and hope everyone has a great holday season!........Cliff out....
