The silver '64 looks like the one that was restored in the PMD engineering garage (now part of the GM Heritage Center collection).

The nocturne blue w/ white top, I still have and show it all the time GTOAA and POCI. That was back in the day when they were scored on 300 points and were scored at each other, not gold, silver, etc. Highest point score got 1st. I have always felt the judging changed because some people went home with a bad taste for not winning something. A lot of nice cars did not get their recognition. Just saying And cars could also be judged in a group, like 64 and 65 together against each other, depending how many cars showed up in a class. I took a lot of pictures. Just have no idea where they are now.

Stunningly Beautiful '65 GTO convert! Bill. Remember first seeing it @ '94 Indy!

Took quite a few pics of it, also pics of the black '64 GTO convert, & of one of the finest '73 GTO's I've looked over (Mark H's I believe). I was working the Swapper most of the time, & remember the major gust front that came in, believe it was Friday early evening. Was a struggle to tear down one of my canopys before it took off & the skys opened & it poured

Some beauties in there! Did they let you take a lap around that track that year?

So I pay attention to some other sites that cater to my automotive interests. None of them are subsidizing Zuckerberg.
One site in particular has an old photo thread from the club national event specifically from the late 80's/ early 90's. That thread seems to me to generate a lot of interest. Guys that were there at the event(s) are posting about it on that site. It's active.
I was sorting through some items/ photos I have in my possession relative to previous monster GTOAA events in the past. The GTOAA website doesn't really have much on the "past conventions" section. I spoke with I believe the membership coordinator who related that "once in a while, someone puts up something on facebook." The "stuff" belongs on the club site I would think.
Debating on whether or not there is enough interest in it for me to put my time into it.

I was going to ask you if that was your car.

A gem from Columbus 1986. I believe that is Illinois Dan Doyle in his 67 vert heating them up.
