Andy, the 348 Chevy tri power end carbs will only work on a 57-58 Pontiac tri power because they are the small bore carbs. Check to see if the end carbs have idle adjustment screws, if they do then they are incorrrect. If you bought a Edelbrock tri power manifold for a small block Chevy you could use the carbs for that.

Andy, the 1958 only Chevrolet 348 end carbs can be recalibrated to work on 1958 only Pontiac tripower. The 1957 Pontiac use different style linkage (unless you are using aftermarket linkage). The 1959-61 Chevrolet 348 end carbs have the fuel inlet in the wrong place to work with original Pontiac fuel lines (unless you custom bend a set of lines). Jon.

A friend of mine, Ron Kellogg, runs www.chevytripower.com He builds many street rod tripowers and buys many 348 set ups. He can be reached at (309) 256-2550. Illinois.
