'60 & '65 free stuff
Up for grabs are some Catalina parts. For the '65 I have most of the front clip - hood, bumper, grills, headlight trim. This was from a Safari, and the rest of it includes most of the stainless door & window trim plus tail lights and a roof rack.
For the '60 Safari I have a tailgate with manual roll-up window, includes key. I'm not going to ship any of this so you'll have to come get it. If there's any interest I'll post or send you pics. Thanks for looking. |

How rusty is the 65 sheet metal and how are the 65 bezels?

I was just moving this stuff around the other day and thought maybe somebody can use it. So I did not look at any of it real close.
The hood has surface rust that would probably clean up with glassbeading. the bezels did not look bad, I think there are some pits underneath the visor part that sticks out over the headlights. The bumper is good, some rust on the back but its solid. It has a gentle bend in the bottom part. The pics I took don't show much detail on the bezels. A different day when it's not so late I'll post them. |

I am interested and I have to go to the Stamford area very soon. Are you near there?

I would also like to note that I'm offering these free to somebody who can (a) use them and (b) can pick them up. No shipping is available for the free stuff. Finally put the pics up. Apologies for the poor quality, what happens when you're in a hurry and use a phone to take them. |

that hood wont. You will probably have to seperate the grills. Unless you can fold down the middle seats.
A Durango? Come on Steve a Durango? Must have been a really, really good price. patrick |

Yes it was.

We did the rear diff @ 150000, the trans @ 200000 plus tires, brakes, etc, etc. It has a 4.7 and right now it has 264000 miles and it runs great. He had a balance with me and wanted me to sell it for him, so I couldn't say that I didn't want to help him since he has given me thousands over the last few years, so I just took it for my winter car, gave him a little cash and washed his bill. He bought it w/78000 miles in 2004. Yes, I can fold the middle and 3rd seats down. Last year I had an F150.

Well the hood would probably fit on top of the Durango if there's a rack & piece of rope. Late Sat morning would be OK like 10 or 11.

I'm leaving Boston around 8:00 to go to Darien, which is about 3 hours. Should be in Darien about an hour.
