Default Penn Grade 50 Wt. Vs. Valvoline VR1 50 Wt.

Hey Everybody,
Which oil for a straight weight 50 is best for a tired block and bearings?
Penn Grade straight 50 mineral or Valvoline VR 1 straight 50 mineral?

I don't like my oil pressure and I will get a real block this winter - just want to run it a little more before the snow flies.

Thanks, Craig

Why not run 20/50 with straight 50 it will take some time to get the oil flowing when it's cold and could cause excessive wear

Either will be fine if it’s old and wore out your not going to see a big difference with either one. Menards does sell VR1 for $4.99 qt.
