That GT is Nice, but it sure is odd with the bucket seats, column shift and no console. To bad most of the GT's were 350 2bbl cars

Actually the GT came standard with the 350 4-barrel engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. I've seen a few (one in person) that was a column 3-speed manual and yes it is quite "weird".

My Can Am is equipped with buckets, sans console, with the automatic shifter on the column. I've had people tell me that's "weird" too.

Thanks Brian, I always thought it was a 350 2bbl, my mistake. And Remember I like Weird and odd cars. I have always thought bucket seat column shift cars are odd, I have owned a few and always felt they were odd choices.

That 1973 Lemans GT is beautiful car.

Rarely see one in good condition, properly restored and represented.

Default Real GT?

What code do we need to see on the data plate to know its a real GT? Or is on the PHO doc?

Does seem very very rare for someone to have ordered A51 buckets with a column shift...can a GT be an automatic?

I think you're going to have to order the PHS docs to confirm if it is a GT. To my knowledge, that level of trim information is not available on the cowl tag.
