Default 68-70 Hood Interchange question

Can anyone answer if the inner structure of the 68 flat hood of a Lemans will interfere with the radiator shroud on a 1970 Lemans? Are the inner structures of the flat hood the same through 1968 to 1970?

it may fit okay depending on alignment as to how hard it presses into the shroud without the relief, but you should bend it up just for clearance sake.

See Greg's picture at post #10 here to see where to bend it up if you don't have the original 70 hood to compare to. it's that center brace in the middle where it lines up over the shroud.

Thank you for the link to the thread. Very good photos in post #10. So 69 and 70 are the same. 68 will need a little work. Thank you.
