Tire question
Barr's Restoration is just finishing up the restoration on my '67 HO car and now it's time to decide on tires. As much as I love the GY Polyglas look, I do plan on driving this car so figured radials are the way to go. I was all set to order a set of the try-ail BFG Radia T/As when i discovered that Firestone make the Wide Oval in a radial (at twice the price) Was just looking for feedback/opinions from the group.

Depending on what sizes you’re going with the Mickey Thompson sportsman st is a nice tire. I have a set on my car and really like them.

I'm going to go with the 14" since Steve restored a set of JC wheels for me

BFGs radials only on my 66 GTO. They are on 15 inch Cragars tho and look good. Fills the wheel wells just right. the 14s I had up front just didn't look right. Besides that my disc brake conversion wouldn't have fit 14 inch rims.

The radials look very close to the bias ply look
They only come in red line I am going with white line so I have to stick with the true bias ply tires If you are going with red lines then you are lucky |
