In '15 Jeff ran 7.77 @ 170 turning the nitrous off @ 1000 feet. Maybe you should move to "E" heads and step up your performance!

True statement.....you do know I'm only runny 12 lbs of boost.......RIGHT, which is basically only a 150-200 shot of nitrous. I'm not sure (i don't keep track) that he's going any quicker 4 years later, maybe that why he changed heads he wants to top quicker.......me I just need to turn the boost up! I'm sure my 12 year old engine/heads has more left in it, I'm not sure my chassis can take it, its basically a 30 plus year old chassis! LOL!
KREHPTTF!

George,
I don't know if Jeff ever ran the 1/4 mile again. He did continue to lower his 1/8 mile et and increase his 1/8 MPH. I believe at the end he could run a 4.7x 1/8 mile. What is your best 1/8 mile et?

E heads have made more max NA power than "your" head. AND made more max power than "your" head boosted.
Facts only the Facts.

Don’t think an NA engine had gone over 1,300 hp yet and I’m only a bracket engine made to go years without a serious mechanical problem but nice try! LOL! Actually I have no idea how much hp my engine is making at only 12 lbs of boost and under 7,000 rpm BUT illl tell you what it’s got more left in it.

Smart move by plugging and welding the casting plugs on the ends of each head.

Also, are you pushing water from the water pump through a second pump under the manifold which then pushes cooler water over the center exhaust valves from the intake side of the head?

Didn't you get more PPH with the plate? Are you switching for the additional tuning cylinder to cylinder?

It seems reading comprehension eludes you.
High Ports are a better head than old school E heads right ? Raised port, better chamber. Out of the box flow far more. Max ported flow far more too. Best HP numbers are Marcells 462cfm. Best E head might be Siks 420cfm. ( I know, its about cross section but for the sake of argument)
I know of no NA High Port engine that beat Mikes. Any boosted HP engine making more than Chief ? Doubt it.
Its just that to date, E heads still rule the argument.
But, Leech was going to a High Port for a reason.

It's EHTTF for a "reason".

Can you name someone that has tried to make big power with HP heads either boosted or NA (like Leech and his e-heads)?
Why was Mike Leech switching to HP heads if they weren't going to make more power?
Can someone tell me who has HP heads with twin turbos?

Slowbird made a half hazard attempt at making big power with hi-ports and did pretty well.
