Default Replacing radiator and fan shroud in ;70 GTO...

and my question is about the rubber pads for the new radiator. The rad and the shroud were the wrong ones. As too the rubber pads......which way to the go in on the bottom? I was told the larger end towards the engine but the smaller ends for the NOS shroud fit better with the smaller end inserted into the grove for the bottom of the radiator.

I looked for the email that a large Pontiac parts seller told me. I checked mine and on top the large part goes to the front and on the bottom the large part goes tot he rear. I hope this helps.
