Wink great photos.

Jeff. That photo is from Syracuse N.Y. I recognize the Westvale sign and the Gettis Bank sign. Plus N.Y. plates. Love the 65 & 66 posts.

Cool TIGER TAMING

This is a group of negatives that I have never seen used in an ad before.
Very dark low light images, not sure if that's how they were originally shot but still cool.

Set with a Tiger tamer/Circus Theme and somewhat racy compared to any of the "normal" Pontiac ad campaigns of the day.
One could possibly surmise these may have been a shoot for a men's magazine of the time?
Anyhow, Here KITTY KITTY

I've got a couple of those pics saved from when they were posted elsewhere. To me, those have to be the best photos of a '66 I've seen as far as showing the attributes of the front-end design.

Good idea, removing the hood latch.

Original car was Montero Red with a red interior, 4-speed. Under the hood they kept the power brake booster and master cylinder (no vacuum hose), voltage regulator, and trim tag intact in order to give the appearance that it was a running car when the hood pops up revealing the tiger. One of my all-time favorite Pontiac ads!

Thumbs up

They sure look like scratches on the fender, if not it could just be mass amounts of Tiger Drool

For anyone to young to remember here is the commercial the images above are from;

The handler threw meat into the engine bay to lure the cat, but they still had difficulty getting the cat to pop his head up when the hood was opened. In the days before CGI, these folks did a remarkable job capturing the moment when the tiger was looking straight ahead. From what I recall, kitty also jumped into the interior (the convertible top was down) and managed to chew the seats and gnaw on the steering wheel.
