Default Front disc to fit 14" drum rims

Thanks to help from Larry Groskopf, we doped out a way to fit disc brakes into a stock 1957-66 14" drum rims. These use an 11" rotor and 1969-72 GTO caliper - so they will make a nice hydraulic match. We should have them ready for sale in 3-4 weeks as a wheel kit for around $750.

That's a snug fit.

yes it is. production pieces are inboard 0.075" from this - but you will need to remove that much from one of the spindle ears...

the main thing is it does clear and with adequate braking power.

thx robg8r.

ta - no, they are completely different spindles and the 61-63 Tempest rim will not clear any combo I have seen.

Scarebird advertises this as fitting 55-57 with stock 15" wheels. https://scarebird.com/index.php?rout...product_id=201
