Default 67 Ram Air pan seal source?

Can anyone tell me where to purchase a 67 GTO pan to hood seal that isn't a piece of crap?

Well, that's where I bought mine about 8 years ago and it has disintegrated to where it makes a BIG mess under the hood.

Was hoping for a source from somewhere that is more like the original?

Charles, did you check with your buddy in Lafayette, or was it Baton Rouge, where you got your rubber pieces. Maybe he would know what to use to make one that would last, or have what you need to make one. Mind you it's just a thought. I was going to mention that on the phone yesterday, but forgot all about it.

Maybe you can talk Warpath Restoration into making them Charles. I have their '68 foam on the setup I got from them and it looks like the day I installed it. It's only been 4 or 5 years but no degradation at all so far.

OK, does anyone have one of these seals from OPG?

Is it one of those grey foams painted black that looks like it's been eaten by termites after a few years?

I bought one I think from Ames about 5-10 years ago. Turned to gooey powder just sitting on the pan in the garage not even on a car.
