I need a wheel for a 2018 GMC
I bought a new truck a couple months ago and busted a rim on it. Part # 20937765 polished 6-y spoke rim 20"X9". The GMC dealer wants $550.00 for a new one.

No luck at the junkyards? I realize it’s kind of new, but you’d think they could find one in their network?
Last year we had a bad rim on my wife’s Silverado and couldn’t find one at the yards. I went to a local mom and pop tire shop and they have a place that refurbishes rims. They found a matching rim for about $175. Looks better than the ones that were on the truck. I have no idea who they used though. I’m sure there are at least a few around the country

The same wheel was used from 2014-2018 but there are none available locally. I can buy a refurbished one online for $314.00 with a two week money back guarantee and a 20% refund if I return the core. But, I am kind of anal about buying something sight unseen. The Moultrie swap meet is in November if I don't find one before then.

There are usually late model truck wheels on ebay where the owners have upgraded to a lift kit and larger wheels and tires

I found four in Powder Springs, Ga. I am going to drive up Saturday if they are still available.

I just gotta ask this. Who was driving when the wheel was damaged, you, or your wife?

I was. I turned off a side street onto the main road and my right rear wheel dropped into a low spot in the road. That pulled the wheel into a metal drain culvert. Imagine the two roads paved at a 90 degree angle but the curb is rounded. There is a drop off between the paving and the curb. And the drain is raised up perpendicular with the paving and made of metal.
Is this clear as mud?
