T41 fender air extractor vent screws?
Those of you who may be familiar with the T41 fenders with air extractor. The vents fit into fender with pins lining up into holes. On backside there are two screws which screw into vent and put pressure on inner skin of fender. It seems too much pressure or tightening would cause a dent from screw to show up on exterior fender. What am I missing? It seems it would make sense to have another piece of sheet metal JB welded there to push on for screw.

IIRC there is a steel brace that bolts on along with the scoop to help prevent what you are seeing.

See images in this ad of a set, missing the screens, but with the screen-holders, about 4" x 1" roughly.

Thank you. So the steel brace, not screws, actually pushes against the backside of fender to tighten screen? I'll look in my few piles of small parts I have left from old owner.

I found one in my parts. I still need one. I may just make one at work.
