Default 1967 alternator bracket question

How come in all of my gto books I see 67s with two alternator brackets and some 67s with one bracket

Not sure what pics or illusteations you have in front of you.

For '67 Pontiac V8, manual strg would use the manual strg "alum pivot block" & one alt strap.
Power strg uses the '67-70 PS usage aluminum "pivot block" & two alt straps.
